The first day of my internship went really well. The hour went by really slow and the day was just as I expected. My service began by me signing in and getting a feel for the office, quickly I met the person that I would be assisting his name is Mr. Vue. He then told me for the first day that I would just start by scanning some old work plans from the office. Mr. Vue showed me how to use the scanner and I scanned papers for the remainder of my time in the office. For the first day it was just about what I expected, which was them just showing me around and me helping them by beginning the scanning of the old plans. I think my biggest challenge will be seeing what I can learn in this type of environment and hopefully gaining some good first hand experience. I will try to overcome this issue in the future by trying my best to ask questions and just be curious.
