My “stupid answer” is not wanting to go into the engineering department because the place is too far. Or not being able to fit into a workspace because I lack work experience or am not suited to do the task because I lack the knowledge. My ideal working situation is to be able to work somewhat close to home and be part of an engineering company or for an engineering job within the city. I find the field of civil engineering interesting because it is hands on learning as well as very project based work. I think this job is exciting because it is all about the finished project or the “bigger picture”. I secretly like to work on projects because it is self satisfying to see something completed to perfection when you put all that you have into it. What obstacles I see in my way are my lack of experience and naivety to this type of work. I can see myself having trouble contributing or actually learning because of my lack of prior knowledge or experience to the field.
